There's a place where even evil ones fear to tread
There are infant's bodies buried beneath damp earth
And full of pedophiles shallow mass grave
So that the crows can take out their eyes
They are not dead yet, they shall suffer for years
Do you know that smell?
Yes, that's a one you can't mistake
Sweet and sour, drilling into your brain
It's a smell of decomposing corpses
One you will never forget
And the sight, dark and rotten,
A world that has decayed
There are bone trees with leafs of flesh
With petty little thieves sitting beneath them
Eyes bulging out, scared of that place
It's the graveyard of the murdered
Of deserved death
There's a place which carries a threat
A place in which you don't want to ever step
That place is in my head
I like most of the poem except for the first stanza.
I'm not sure it's not exactly "fluid" as the rest of the poem.
I love the rest of the poem though creepy yet emotion evoking (other than the goosebumps feeling)
I know it's free verse
i think that if you try hard enough and put a lot of effort into it your poetry can get as good as possible
